11月29日 皮蛋瘦肉粥/Minced Pork Congee with Preserved Egg自己 去饭店最喜欢点的菜 (要不就是西湖牛肉羹/thick soup of minced beef and egg)
第一次做, 虽然不难, 但没做好, 刚好能吃. 除了网上的套路之外,总结要诀如下:
1. 半碗的米, 至少要半锅的水 ( 粥要稀才好吃 )
2. kroger 的肉貌似有点腥, 下次可以试试昨天别人用的sam's club 调好味的烤肉
3. 得加点味精, 不然不够鲜
4. 下次可以加点胡椒粉

1. Ok, so first, I was trying to complie my "prelim.tex" in order to recover a recent mistake ( a big mistake actually)
2. so I need to install miktex in my "cute " windows 7
3. I installed miktex 2.8. but it then keeps telling me that it cannot find revtex4.cls ( a class that used especilly for APS journal ) to compile my prelim.tex
4 I tried basic miktex 2.8/ update package or complete miktex 2.8, but both don't work
5. I tried LEd and TexMaker , but both don't work
6 then I think it may be some other reasons, maybe miktex 2.8 doesn't work with windows 7. So I tried miktex 2.7 with windows 7 , but it doesn't work either.
I tried miktex 2.8 on window xp in my lab computer , but it doesn't work either
7 then, some new problems come. I finally give up and want myself a peace. So I go back, uninstalled miktex 2.7,and want to reinstall miktex 2.8 and stay in peace, but suddently windows 7 keep stopping the installation during the process and tells some problem about "windows API error 2"related to /user/App data. But I can still install miktex 2.7. OK, so I installed 2.7.
8. However, Some tex file, that I orginally can compiled , now cannot be compiled in miktex 2.7 , including my previous homework, resume.....I cannnot update any package with miktex 2.7
9 I still did not give up. I was trying to use SSH tunnel plus VNC again to remote control my lab linux computer so that I can compile my tex files there in my lab computer of linux system.
10, But, ssh tunnel stops working in the middle !! I did this before in my windows xp system but now I cannot do it in my windows 7 .
The only solution now is I driving to lab whenever necessary if I need to compile latex. ?&(*)___!!!!!!!!!
two nights now.
Still don't know the problem is due to windows 7 itsself or the possible mess left by the installation of miktex.
One possible issue is that it looks like loggin in as an Adminstrator account in windows 7 is a little bit wierd. You lose control on the permission of some file.
need some suggestions.

Everytime I go to gym to practice my swim (more than 10 times now), I find I have a little bit progress. That's something that can make me happy.
